SLOW POKES

I can't recall when I planted cactus seeds in this dish - was it even this year?? After a month or two - and after failing to see any evidence of germination - I gave up and place the dish under our gas grill outside.
Last week, when I was replacing some grill parts - yes, I inadvertently pricked myself on one of the cactuses =:o)
I've highlighted the first plants to appear - stay tuned...
