Great Grandma Setzer had her initial pacemaker implanted March 30, 2001. The lithium batteries in these devices last several years, and she was due to have her second battery replacement performed this month.
Arriving at ORMC at dawn yesterday, she breezed through the procedure - we were headed home at 2 pm (that's her old pacemaker above).
