In 1492, Columbus...Oh Heck, You Know How It Goes....

The photograph of Cat Island in the Bahamas, top, was taken from the International Space Station a few weeks ago. Cat Island, formerly San Salvador, is considered the most likely spot where Columbus first made landfall in the Americas (and you thought he landed on Cocoa Beach by Ron Jons, didn't you? =:o)

The little island on the lower left in the photograph is privately owned and used as a port of call for cruise ships.
