Other than one photo on a Stereo Saturday post, I've neglected to upload any images from our February visit to the Butterfly Rainforest exhibit at the Florida Museum in Gainesville. Sorry that Ashley's a little fuzzy above - I made a classic focusing error. A close look at the bottom picture will reveal a couple of turtles resting on the bank of a stream. Elsewhere, Koi swim in the clear water. Finches (seed eaters - whew!) fly about everywhere.
There's an adjacent butterfly nursery and exhibit. A butterfly-friendly plant sale is held weekly.
