Don't Worry About Teenagers Driving In Your Neighborhood...

...Worry about the teenagers that might be piloting planes like this one that I photographed flying over our house last week =:o)
.
CAP cadets, starting at age 12, may end up getting their pilot's license with the help of hands-on tutoring while serving in the patrol. They train in search & rescue (they're practicing, above), disaster relief and emergency service. The patrol was formed a few days before Pearl Harbor in December, 1941, and is very active today: they even assist in Homeland Security.
