While I observed the other day, my friend and neighbor worked through the finishing process on three hiking sticks he's crafting. Cut from another neighbor's bamboo landscaping, the sticks have been adorned with woodburned designs. The new owners' initials (in this case, his son's) and date were burned in with a heated letter stamping set.
I'll show pictures of the finished sticks on completion.
