Going beyond the reach of a modest telephoto lens (top photo), the T-adapter on my old Celestron telescope (2nd photo) allows the DSLR to capture a much closer image. Ironically, when I purchased the telescope decades ago, I had no idea what the T-adapter attachment was for.....good thing I saved it, huh? =:o)
