The retention pond adjoining our back yard is seen in the series of photographs above, starting with an imaged captured on January 11th. In the second image, our sometimes visiting hawk rides out the thunderstorms in a tree in our yard on Monday, the 17th. Later in the day, the pond becomes Duck City as Mallards invade. Next two photos: 24 and 48 hours later.
