Just as Paul mentioned in his post today, I, too, was trying for a decent Moon shot this week. I chose Monday night, after a day of stormy weather. The air was full of moisture, and the Moon had just risen near the top of our neighbor's Maple trees. Bracing the camera on a patio post, this was a 2 second shot with a 300mm lens. Certainly not a work of art, but I was nonetheless pleased with the result.
