STORM DAMAGE

I fashioned some six birdhouses (mailing tube bodies) over 25 years ago, and a preschool Ashley and I placed them around our property fence line.

Years later, I mounted one in a tree outside the "Crabapple Cottage" in north Georgia where we've stayed as guests many times.

After weathering several storms, all that remains of our gift there is half of a roof...
