Paul commented recently on this blog about my grandmother (1875-1953) the things she must have witnessed in her life. She saw the invention of the motor car, television (and the bikini!), and lived through a worldwide pandemic and two World Wars.

Well, she witnessed the radio before the television! Indoor bathrooms, the light bulb, electricity in homes (I read that only about half the homes in the US had electricity by 1925)...I was trying to think of "life changing" inventions.
