FISH STORY


 My dad (right) and his buddy are photographed here in the 1920's fishing from shore, using baitcasting reels.

Spincasting reels would be in use a decade later, and things would really take off with the widespread use of nylon for fishing line post-WWII...

Spincasting reels actually came back in vogue during the 1980's because they cast so much longer. I just ended up spending most of the day untangling line when I used one. Great picture to see a different side of Grandpa Clark.
