A TALE OF TWO SCHOOLS

When my dad started high school in Ladysmith, Wisconsin in 1919, his school was practically new (built 1913-1914).
Seventeen years later and 350 miles Southeast, his brother (my uncle Mason) started high school in Des Plaines, Illinois at Main Township High School (built in 1929).
I followed along twenty years later at that same school.
