LANDSLIDE

When I saw the news item about homes sliding into the Tennessee River earlier this month, I thought I'd do some Google Maps  searching to see the exact location.
Note to self: When you buy hillside lots* on the outside bend of a large river, you might want to ask the former land owner why the area is called, "Chalk Bluff"...

I saw the story as well. That bend and several others just are not a good place to build anything. I did manage to find a few photos in that area as well from back in spring of 2018
