REPAIRING A GIFT

At some point during the four decades that I've stored this professional artist's easel (a gift from Leehan, the artist), it sustained insect damage to one of it's legs.
Last week, I fabricated a new leg (highlighted), added new hardware and brought the easel back to working condition.
.
Now what??

Maybe you should paint happy little trees and birds? Short drive to visit Bob Ross and ask any questions you may have...
