CLEANSING THEIR PALETTES?

Sunrise casting a warm glow on their undersides, a half dozen Ibis' pause 50' up in my neighbor's remaining maple tree last week.
Far from their regular diet of crustaceans, frogs and such, they spent some time stripping caterpillars and the like from the tree branches...
