A STREET IN TIME

An individual in an online group I belong to posted this Google image last week of a quiet neighborhood in Amsterdam. The street looks much as it did 84 years ago, when Sanne Ledermann (left) and her friend - 6 year old Anne Frank - played jump robe on it's sidewalk (they're standing about where the bicycles end at picture's center)
Brownbird - Throwback Thursday
*Anne (15) and her older sister Margot (19) died a few days apart in March, 1945, in a Nazi concentration camp in northern Germany
