MOBILE WOODPECKERS

We had a crew of specialists inspecting our neighborhood utility poles this week. The inspection sequence starts with digging around the pole base, drilling into the pole followed by woodpecker-like tapping with a large hammer. Three specialists are involved: two with left and right handed shovels, and a 3rd to hold the clipboard.

...and (it goes without saying) a pickup truck with an orange flashing light =:o)
