11,000 TONS LIGHTER

Over the Summer, the Sentinel's 5 presses were dismantled and sold for scrap. They were described by a Sentinel machinist as "Swiss watches as powerful as locomotives".

Uncle Roger, who worked with the presses, met his future wife at the paper.

Outsourced to printing plants in Daytona Beach and Lakeland (Gatehouse Media)
