IN HONOR OF...

The Subject of a March 2nd "Throwback Thursday"was the train depot in Osceola, Wisconsin - and my grandfather's role in the construction of the building 100 years ago (he was the Carpenter Foreman on the project).
Yesterday, I ran across a photo of him on that very same job.

* You know, a funny thing about Osceola, Wisconsin - it's original name was LeRoy. The town was named after LeRoy Hubbard, who was killed cutting timber to be used in the construction of a saw mill (there's a certain irony there, I imagine)
