GROWING A CHILDHOOD MEMORY

This is my second try at starting Lily of the Valley plants, and this time I've got an ideal location in the yard (perhaps not the perfect location in the USA, of course).
The pips came from the Netherlands, the seeds from China (dubbed "Bell Orchids" there).

I bought a bag of Pensacola Bahia grass seed...is that like planting a childhood memory?

I should probably buy a bag myself - pretty bare around the old citrus tree grove..

We had a Lily of the Valley bed on the North side (facing Lake Erie) of my childhood house in Lorain..

I guess they like a good cold winter! you may disappoint them with your backyard.
