A PASSING TO NOTE

Somewhere between an acquaintance and a friend, physically rather unattractive and often tactless, Frank Sokol was nonetheless very accomplished as a DDS*.
Nana worked as Dr. Sokol's assistant back in the 60's, and I captured him above during a break reading his favorite genre (science fiction).
Frank suffered a heart attack in his 60's, but was able to continue working for a time. He died a week ago Sunday at the age of 84.
