In a light rain Thursday afternoon, I photographed this miniature sunflower next to the lower pond. We had planted this type of sunflower in the garden last Spring (opposite side of the yard), but plants have a way of spreading.... . Brownbird - January 29th
I got home a couple of days ago, and you could hear all the frogs in the marsh, swamp bayou. What was weird is that it's been warm, but they didn't start up until after the 2nd recent cold snap...must have triggered something!? They're not singing tonight (currently 51 and headed lower)...
