IT'S GREEK...
"It's Greek to me" - Greek Revival, that is.
Above, Greek Revival architecture buildings we've photographed from our car in the last weeks. Starting from the top:
The old Lee County Courthouse (1915) in Ft. Myers, Florida (cool Banyan tree out front), then St. John's Episcopal Church (1881) in Tallahassee, followed by the First United Methodist Church (1851) in Jackson, Tennessee
...and in the present, an interesting two-level pond feature on an office complex in Birmingham, Alabama - fountain in the upper pond, cascading water wall in the lower pond (seen across from our hotel...and in an aerial)
.
