Mars was following close by Saturn as the pair descended in the west, and Scorpius (Nana's constellation) sat just to the left. You could make out most of Scorpius' stars - especially the "sting" - Shaula (a double star...perhaps even a triple).

I love the apps for tablets that can bring up the stars using a gyroscope! It is one of my favorite things my iPad can do!
