I was alerted to the unique sound of military helicopters yesterday afternoon, and rushed out the door - camera in hand - to photograph these four traveling south. They're Apaches, and were undoubtedly heading for the Avon Park bombing range near Sebring. Homeland Security, working with all the armed forces branches, had been doing some coordinated exercises at the range late in November.
