David recently pointed out that the shopping cart pusher (like the one pictured above) used in many Walmart stores - when used improperly - can cause abnormal wear on the shopping cart wheels, shortening their life. We were not surprised yesterday, then, when we came upon a work team at the rear of a local store replacing wheel assemblies on hundreds of carts.

And here all along we thought it was us shoppers....=:o)
