This hawk, perched above our Iguana enclosure yesterday, was so focused on them that my presence directly in front of him with a camera was apparently of little matter. He cried an alarm (signal?) for several minutes before departing. I would have liked to know what he was thinking. Was he viewing them as a meal, or did their appearance alarm him?

Considering his ancestral lineage, I'd say the raptor was considering if the plains ape in front of him would make a happy meal :)
