I wanted to install a Gate Stop on our fence gate last week, but the closest place to purchase one would involve a 45 minute journey across town to Tractor Supply (gas + purchase price = $40). The solution rested in a box of assorted old hardware (we all have one) in the workshop: broom clips and an old piece of broomstick.
