I've been meaning to complete and install this riser for our television for several weeks now, and I'm happy to report that it works as planned. It wouldn't seem that so slight an adjustment to the viewing angle would make such a performance difference, but you have to remember that the screen in this instance is less than 8' from the viewer's heads.
