House Finches, seldom seen this far down the peninsula, have been visiting our back yard feeder throughout the day these last few weeks. Welcome new guests to us, apparently the local Cardinals have some issues with them. Yesterday's food fight was finally settled when the two songbirds took up stations on opposite sides of the cafeteria...
