88 minutes after I snapped a picture Friday morning of Bruno Riberon's 1987 Corvette in a nearby parking lot, another car participating in the Las Vegas-to-Miami 2011 Bullrun Rally lost a tire and wrecked a mile away on the Florida Turnpike. Friday was the last day of the run, and drivers started their morning at a BBQ joint in Perry.
Bruno, a native of France, had driven in the rally previously. Lisette, his significant other, serves as his navigator (the bottom photo is not mine). Due to it's color, they've named their car "Corvettron" (One of the first Transformer cars was actually a Corvette).
