Our backload of mail was delivered yesterday, and I received a gift from the U.S. Government! O.K., the Postmaster (aka Moyia =:o)
One of the first things I've learned in the very first issue of my subscription is that Swallow-Tailed Kites have fully retractable landing gear (bottom photo).
All kidding aside, I never envisioned myself as a "birder". Now that we know that they're descended from dinosaurs, "birding" is considered somewhat cool....
