Hey - it's for real this time (Re: April Fools Day post =:o)
I've got one of those string trimmers that uses 18" pieces of trim line, rather than a spool load. So, there you are out in the yard and your string has worn down and needs replacing - back to the shop for another piece? Professional yard folks carry a holster with spare line, but I had an idea for an attached holder fashioned from 1/2" PVC pipe. Notice also the black marks on all the 18" pieces: they mark the exact center of each piece, allowing me to place the new line evenly on the trimmer head.
