The ideal configuration for our XBox's motion-capture device - Kinect - places it at eye level. Commercial holders are overpriced and carry low consumer ratings, so I decided to fashion a stand myself. Starting with an old desk lamp base, I added 1/2" pvc piping, cutting a small piece of sheet pvc to match the Kinect's base.
