Up Close And Personal

I've upgraded to an 18-200mm zoom lens on my DSLR camera, combining it with a 1.5 teleconverter that I already had. The new lens is very compact, and can be used on an all-in-one basis - virtually eliminating the need to change lenses for different situations. Using the teleconverter provides over 16 power optical magnification for telephoto shots. Testing in the last two days, I captured the shots above of our rare visitor Finch and frequent(?) visitor to the yard Little Blue Heron.
