Kathleen Virginia Arrowood officially turns 90 today, and with the help of modern medicine (three stents and a pacemaker) and good genes, she maintains and above average physical health profile for her age.
Alzheimer's disease has made a strong presence in the last year, and although Great Grandma has lived with us for over 13 years, we now have taken on the role of full-time caregivers. Yesterday, when Nana pointed out some gifts Great Grandma had received the prior day during her 90th birthday celebration, Great Grandma replied, "Was I there?"
