"SNAKE IN THE GRASS"

 No, really..a snake in the grass:

If my mower had gone a foot further, we would have had two half-snakes in the grass =:o)

As you can tell from the photo, he's pencil-sized but feisty (I'm wearing a glove in case he pees on me - that defense mechanism can be pretty smelly and hard to wash off)
