Rick and Brianna visited Mammoth Cave this month, and I was reminded of earlier visits there:
Although we explored there with the BAM crew in 2005, we also were there in 1973* (with our own children) and my brother Peter and I with my parents when I was 10-11.

As a 10 year old my biggest memory of the caves is when the guide turned the light out, so we could experience complete darkness
