HE CERTAINLY DID...

The Lakeland Clark Living blogger thought he had found a twin to his parents* cedar chest (aka Hope Chest) in a home in Kathleen this week. He certainly did - an exact duplicate.
The Lane Company manufactured literally millions of these chests, starting in 1912 (the one above is circa mid-twentieth century)

The lid is slightly different on the one I found. Maybe they were like cars - little changes here and there over the years until they come out with a new design?
