How not to land your Float Plane...

In the first instance (right here in Central Florida), the pilot neglected to retract his regular landing gear during a water landing.
The second image demonstrates one possible result of a violent touchdown in water: a pontoon completely ripped off the aircraft.

The float planes for Sun and Fun land at Fantasy of Flight. A few years back they had 2 of them flip while landing because it was so windy.
