EVENING SNACKS

Gulf Fritillary caterpillars munch on their host Passion Flower plants in the bottom photo, taken yesterday on our pool patio. They're fattening up before shortly entering their next stage of life.
The weather will determine possible Gulf Fritillary migration (the Gulf in their name stands for the Gulf of Mexico) and also whether the chrysalis' of these caterpillars open in a few weeks or winter over.
