A WORTHY REPLACEMENT (WITH A HISTORY)

A few years ago - due to changes in the water table - we lost both a loquat tree in our back yard and a silver dollar eucalyptus tree in the front.
This week, we've planted a 6' loquat in the front yard to replace the eucalyptus....
.
The rest of the story: The small loquat tree is actually a surviving seedling from the large loquat we had in the back yard, which we discovered in a corner of the yard years after the parent tree had died - Mother Nature works in mysterious ways
