Curiosity, our newest Mars rover, is preparing for an intricate landing procedure coming up late tomorrow night (Pacific Daylight Time - early Sunday morning on the East Coast). The stereo image above, generated from data provided by Mars orbiters, shows the projected landing area (inside the ellipse).
