A Matter Of Attitude

Biking by this Elementary School yesterday, I noticed that the original Eagle design - which I drew up and provided to their administration gratis (Nana was part of the school staff) - was still being used on roadside signage. My eagle's pose was aggressive - no internet decades ago, so the reference was probably a book at home - and I tried to soften the image by "fattening" the talons.
Later, on the building signage, a more innocuous pose was chosen (bottom photo).
