Part Of A Passionate Trinity

Anyone that has planted a garden to attract butterflies usually realizes after a time that each kind of butterfly has it's plant preferences. If you wanted to attract Monarch butterflies, for instance, you'd sow milkweed. For the Zebra Longwing, photographed yesterday by our pool, it's definitely Passion Flowers. Along with Gulf Fritillarys (which we've featured before on the blog) and Julias, the Zebra forms a trio of butterflies that love this particular plant.
