Visiting Native

One of the Locals, a Little Blue Heron, stopped by the yard Tuesday. He's really little threat to our Koi population - they're a little out of his league, size-wise. 
Again yesterday, I photographed one of his brethren (or perhaps him?) in the reeds at Shadow Bay Park.
