Immediately after Universal Studios Islands of Adventure opened, sound issues with a coaster on the northwest corner of the theme park became apparent. Residents of a gated community west of the park - shown in the bottom photo - complained of noise from the "Dueling Dragons" ride. Universal's solution was to construct a 60+ foot double-faced* steel wall, partially hidden by foliage (I shot the top photo looking up through a tall thicket of bamboo).
