While heading for lunch the other day, we observed a work crew completing the installation of a "monopole" cell tower - certainly a visual improvement over the various other types blotting the landscape (click on the picture to enlarge). When completed, the cell antennas will be entirely shrouded and out of sight - only a bare pole will be visible.
