Ice in the water was probably just my eyes playing tricks on me* - the thermometer readout, however, was very real: our pool water temp has dropped into the 70's in the last 48 hours. For folks pushing that number on the birthday chart, this pretty well signals the end of pool season. We took out last exercise/recreation swim on Saturday.
Oh, there may be a few quick dips following yardwork, but that's about all until Spring.
Six months isn't long enough - I'll have to work on some solar panels......
